My friend thinks that the mum has a brother as there is another stray that looks like her. I'm wondering if they were thrown out of their home due to the cost of living crisis xx

The mum cat has now been spayed and the kittens have gone to Cats Protection and will be rehomed in a few weeks. My friend felt a little upset but she would not be able to keep them all. She is thinking of adopting one, but is worried about the cat she has already, that they won't get along xx

Hi Diane, my friend has some stray cats that hang around and she feeds them. One of them had 5 kittens about 5 weeks ago. Last week, the mum started to move the kittens over a fence. While moving the last one a cat tried to mate with her and she dropped the kitten. My friend managed to catch the kitten and put it back in the box. My daughter went over to help and my friend ended up taking the kitten in. She's had to feed it with kitten milk. Then a couple of days later some one knocked on her door and had one of the kittens. My friend also took that one in. A couple of days ago, the mum had brought two of the kittens back to where my friend lives and put them in a recycling box. Sadly we don't know what has happened to the 5th kitten. Today, my friend noticed one of the kittens sitting on her doorstep, it had climbed out of the box. My daughter went over there as the mum ran off with the other kitten. Long story short, they got both kittens so now all 4 are living in my friends home. The mum has become feral so won't let anyone pick her up. Also my friend doesn't have any spare room for them all otherwise she would have taken the family in weeks ago and she also has her own cat. Wh

p.s. yes the windows have been done but noticed a crack on one of the panes so it needs to be replaced. Could do without that xx
