Oh boy. you got slammed up there.  We haven't had anywhere near the amount of rain you've had this week.

The storms made it down here just before noon. I prob shouldn't have bothered putting the trash out this am. I doubt they'll pick up at this point. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Imelda, when bins were floating down the street....

I am in Houston, but I live close to downtown.  So far, it's just ominously cloudy down here, but I know up north it's insane.  I've had to drug my poor pixie. She is terrified of storms - and with the storms that went through Sunday night, she was terrified when everything was still north of the beltway.  I don't if she feels the electro-magnetic issues with all the lightning, or if it's the barometric pressure, etc.  She's going deaf at this point, so it's not just the noise of the storms that get to her.
