Thanks for the good wishes, Chris! Yes, the bug has finally left me, and thank goodness my hubby didn't catch it. Had a busy day travelling and watching grandsons play baseball and soccer. Sweet dreams, Chick. Hope you are feeling better!

Just finished the last of round I chemo - May 4th. starts round II of the next type. She should be finished chemo by June; have a few weeks off and then start radiation. There will be more surgery in the fall (no reconstruction) just repair from the Double mastectomy and then a hysterectomy.  Bald as a cue ball ! Wears a scarf if she has to go out. She needs a natural wig. The wigs available are awful looking. She brought one home from the hospital yesterday and the kids said "You look better bald"  so bald she is. All and all she is handling this with great strength !  This Mom is very proud of her !!  Thank you for asking for her.  :o)

Keeping my fingers crossed that there may be an eventual reconnection with our granddaughters.
