fingers crossed for you, doing the dwellers and rainbow at the same time is a real challenge due to garden space. Idealy best to optimise your chances of an orange guppy using an emerald jewel that would keep out the greens and yellows, but yep doing both at one is a lot of pulling,planting and so on, hope you get one soon.

Once the yellow coral is painted its going to attract lobsters too which are very common and will be a real pain just like mermaids you will see in many gardens multiple corals , as different colours deter as well . very tricky .
In your course I suggest.

removing the amber
planting a red ruby dust to keep out red guppies but allowing orange guppies
buying an orange coral, once coloured it will deter lobsters.

as you go up you need more and more coral deterrents .
hope the way is staying on course to be good one !
