I'm getting ready to attempt the Starfish.  I see the troubles you're going through. I'm going to go a different route. First, setup all coral except Orange, Second, Put in Orange PW and obtain the last coral color with limited options. Third, obtain frogpawn, Last thing is remove feeding table and put a SS in.

Don't blame you. Have a break and maybe when you reopen that might shock the algorithms into behaving. One can but hope! Xx

I am personally beginning to think it is set up like this on purpose. Seems to be far more than just coincidences if you ask me. Take mermaids - and guppies, for that matter - they are so prolific *until* you actually need one, then all of a sudden they become endangered. Now why is that, do you suppose? It can't just be in my imagination cos I see other people saying the exact same thing. Thing is, we spend lots of money on this game when it's going *well* so I really don't think it's fair having to pay even more when it isn't!

Looks very difficult.  Once set up with all the coral, you only have 1 of 2 choices. To deter Tadpoles or Mermaids.  I'm guessing the starfish might take several tries.  Any tips?

Yep, you need 6 corals in the end. Orange through violet and that final guppy nearly kills you. I waited 30 hours for a darn yellow guppy to make an appearance.

I believe you need that indigo coral which is why they didn’t show up. For the final round, all six corals need to be there.
