It's really windy this evening.  The dust was blowing and could hardly see the mountains.  Don said it's hard to pick up after the dog, too!  LOL  Yep, it is!  Hope all is well with Maggie's husband. You always look forward to visits with her!  If it cools down enough tomorrow, might get out front and do some pruning.  I'm not a work in the wind type...so hope it settles down.   :)  Take care!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  OOH, I love Austin Mini's!  You were lucky to have had three.  After the Maverick, my ex wanted the car out of my Dad's name (I paid for it), and we got another Maverick....that constantly had to have AAA come out to jump start it.  :(  After that, had a Chevy Chevette, then a used Buick, then the Corolla (loved that car) and gave it to my Grandson Chase when we moved out here.  Don said he had an Austin Healey convertible...probably 1970?  He's had so many different cars over his lifetime.  I should have known we'd be buying a new one about every two years when I married him.  LOL 

We did get our Pinkbox Donuts today!  After lunch, we waited in a reasonable line to purchase.  That gave us time to select what we wanted.  There are so many donuts to try.  I'll have to take pictures with my camera of the pictures Don took in the donut shop...and then the ones we purchased.  Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to it.  The day went by fast again.  Worked on the jigsaw this afternoon.  Fun!

Hope you have a nice visit with Maggie tomorrow. I'm glad you have someone to puzzle with. The only people who "play" with me are my family and they're far away in North Carolina. But I have 3 waiting here for them to work on. (Not sure they'll be happy about that...)
Today was a hot one so I stayed inside and waited to walk at dusk. In the afternoon I walked to my neighbor's condo and checked on his piano. It was fun to play it for about an hour.
The room just lit up with lightning and thunder crashed, so I'll stop writing and turn off my computer. I didn't know a storm was predicted!
