Good morning Bev!  OMGoodness   Bev, it seems like it's going to be a long haul with potty training Opie!  It definitely is a big hit n miss with him.  I started using the wee pads, & at first he was doing so good with them, but now he just drags them around & puts holes in them.  Outside he tries to eat the grass & everything in front of him.  My Vet warned me that males were more difficult to train. I have never had one as bad as him to train.  Of course, I've always had chihuahuas.  He's a mix of mostly Yorkie & 1/4 Chi. Very loveable & a real snugglrbug! 
Good for you.  It sounds like your Trixie is doing much better in that department.  We'll get there eventually!  Lol
