Hi Janet, it's been a very wet day it didn't stop until about 4 this afternoon. I collected Hilda and we met up with Judith for cousin's lunch. It was lovely, we all had the same today, Halibut with a cheese and prawn sauce. I had a chocolate brownie with ice cream for desert and they had some some of pistachio and raspberry frangipane with clotted cream. I took Hilda home as she doesn't drive and stopped at hers for a cuppa and more chat, I didn't get home until 7!

Tomorrow morning first thing I'm going to the optician to collect the new bifocals. They were ready last week but I cancelled my appointment as I thought I was seeing Maggie, that didn't happen but by then it was too late to change it back.

Good luck with the grill, what is it with them and men. They do like to be in charge, me, I'd let any one use it but me. lol
I'm off to get ready for bed so I can be up and out early.
